STOCK REPORTS FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR 2011 AND SUSTAINABILITY
The BM & F BOVESPA announced last week the 2011 AnnualReport, which shows information on the economic-financial, socialand environmental company in a single publication.
The decision to publish an integrated report, with financial and nonfinancial information, based on the understanding that the three dimensions are interrelated and must be communicated to the market at the same time, encouraging analysts and investorsto incorporate social and environmental issues and corporate governance evaluation of the stock price and making investment decisions.
The Annual Report of the BM & F follows the model GRI - GlobalReporting Initiative, self-declared level C, the international standard for publication of sustainability reports. The innovative nature of this report is the integrated simultaneous availability of information on sustainability, usually presented with an interval oftwo to three months after the meeting with analysts and investorsfor the presentation of financial results.
Another initiative of the BOVESPA to encourage listed companies to disclose their non-financial information it is the"Report or Explain". The initiative recommends that, from 2012, companies indicate the reference form are publishedSustainability Report or similar document is available and where.If not, should explain why they do not. The purpose of theScholarship is available to the public in this database Rio +20, theUN Conference on Sustainable Development, taking place in Rio de Janeiro in July.
